​The International Community of Nizao first task was to provide a fire truck for the Municipality of  Nizao.  Nizao first fire truck  a 1982 Mack was delivered in October 2017. The fire department is now equipped and trained to provide a life saving service to the community.  ICONIZAO has initiated the with a donation of a new ambulance to the municipality of Nizao. The donation has been made to the fire department.  Late September 2017  a terrible accident happen which left the our town of about  20,000 residence without an ambulance.  Our organization had a successful fundraising event on  December 9, 2017. With the funds that were collected a new ambulance has been purchase and is expected to be deliver February 2018.Today our focus move to the municipality local hospital.  The Sub-Centro Salud Nizao  is the local hospital that service the community but it lacks many essential Medical Equipment Supplies that all hospital should have to provide great service to their patients. With the focus of rescuing our local hospital ICONIZAO will hold a fundraising event/fiesta on April 21, 2018.  All proceed from the event will go to revitalize Nizao local hospital.
